Meet Your Teacher
MY PHILOSOPHY
Move, Breathe, Smile

When we feel great and move with ease life is abundant and bright. In 1945 Joseph Pilates wrote, "Physical fitness is the first requisite of happiness." When we struggle with our health - mental, physical, spiritual - the world appears skewed. A balanced body facilitates an open dialogue between the heart and mind. Our breath unifies our entire being. Movement, breathe, sunshine, and a smile are essential ingredients for engaging with the many facets and details of daily living "...with spontaneous zest and pleasure".
MEET NAY

While Nadine is my name, close friends call me Nay. I enjoy the love and camaraderie a nickname evokes. Nay's Cove Pilates is a warm, welcoming place to not only create a fit body, but truly expand into your full self. I use my relationship with God, as well as, resources in my life's tool box as a mother, teacher, counselor, writer, analyst, and mediator to meet your unique needs. One of my personal mottos is maximize your potential in the moment. A practice that opens a door to a life of grace. For me, Pilates is an ideal practice for the body, mind, and spirit.

In 2000, I was originally certified through PhysicalMind Institute. Over the years, I engaged in lots of continuing education with a variety of Pilates teachers, including first generation teachers. I recently completed the Polestar Pilates Comprehensive Program. Other degrees earned were a B.S., M.A., and M.S. in Business and Psychology disciplines.
